As a peer Grief Support Specialist, I provide one on one support to individuals facing a loss. It is my privilege to sit with you and listen to your story. Together we can navigate the path that leads to integrating your loss into your life.
Whether in person or virtual, it is important for you to have a safe place to share your grief with someone who understands how complicated and challenging grief can be. You aren't rushed through the process and the schedule depends on you. We have two options: a free 15 minute consultation to start or a full 50 minute session for $50. You can also book an initial package of three sessions for a special rate of $135. Pay when you book a session by clicking on the Payment/Gift tab. There is a two hour cancellation grace window. If you cancel less than an hour before your appointment or fail to show, you are responsible for a $25 booking fee.
Peer support has been utilized in mental and behavioral health treatment for centuries and has been applied in grief for decades. Peer support specialists are recognized as "lived experience experts." We are living with an experience no one wants to be an expert in...and yet we have found a way to give purpose to our pain by helping others. Counseling and therapy are needed when an individual is managing a mental health condition. Grief is not a mental health condition.
